Made from a heavy 11 gauge, dent-resistant 3004 aluminum construction with a smooth polished finish, this durable sauce pan allows for uniform cooking across the entire pan. Its smaller diameter bottom allows for less direct heat exposure, evenly spreading heat along the base and sidewalls while flared sides make it perfect for stirring, beating, or making gravies, sauces, and cereals. It also features a double-thick top edge that stays round for a better cover fit, as well as a double-thick bottom that resists denting.
With its unique, ergonomic design, the stay-cool silicone handle offers a cooler, more comfortable grip, is capable of stovetop use up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and features a patent-pending no-slip grip. This handle is riveted on to ensure a very rigid connection between handle and vessel, guaranteeing longevity even in a commercial kitchen.
