Vollrath 682114B Details
Use the Vollrath Wear-Ever perforated stainless steel wedge inset to efficiently cook or blanch vegetables and pasta. Perfect for cooking pasta in consistent batches, this inset works well with additional insets (sold separately) to increase productivity in the kitchen. Plus, this inset allows your cooks to lift just one batch of pasta from the water at a time to efficiently and safely drain it. With the same great quality you’ve come to expect from the Vollrath Wear-Ever line, this inset is a must-have addition to your establishment!
With its unique, ergonomic design, the stay-cool silicone handle offers a cooler, more comfortable grip, is capable of oven and stovetop use up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and features a patent-pending no-slip grip. The handle is secured with rivets, which ensures a very rigid connection between handle and vessel, guaranteeing longevity even in a commercial kitchen. This inset’s deep pocket is perforated with evenly spaced 3/16″ holes to keep pasta and vegetables contained while straining out water, oil, or other liquids. Four insets fit into (1) 14″ x 7″ 18.5 qt. stock pot (sold separately) so you can cook multiple measured servings of pasta at once. With its versatile and functional design, this Vollrath inset is the perfect addition to your kitchen.
