This Carlisle 190007 clear polycarbonate plate cover is an elegant and efficient alternative to a traditional metal plate cover. Made of virtually unbreakable, clear polycarbonate, this cover allows your employees to easily identify different meals at a glance without having to lift the cover and let heat escape. It is lighter and quieter than a metal plate cover and is designed to keep food hot and fresh during hotel room service or in tray service applications in hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities. This plate cover is stackable, so it can be stored with like covers in less space than other plate covers. In addition, it can be used in heated carts and under heat lamps that reach temperatures up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
