Plus, to maximize durability, the carrier’s polymer foam construction absorbs impact, making it withstand drops, falls, and bumps with ease.
This kit includes (3) ML180XL BigBoy top loading carriers and a dolly. The carrier weighs in at only 4.6 lb. and is capable of carrying up to 5 full size, 2 1/2″ deep food pans or (6) 1 gallon containers. Its 4 handles make for easy lifting and transportation. It also includes an optional carrying strap which can be configured for either one-handed or 2-person carrying. To safely secure the food during transport, the lid features a snap seal. This seal doesn’t require a gasket and eliminates the need for latches and hinges; it exchanges door parts that require upkeep for a simple and dependable design. Plus, for added convenience, these units have a recessed section on their side that serves as an external label holder. This makes it easy to slip in a sheet of paper to help identify the dishes inside. This makes food identification quick and easy when you’re hurriedly preparing the meal and culinary presentation.
The polymer foam is thermally insulated to help maximize heat retention, keeping cold food cold and hot food hot for over 5 hours. This time period allows you to travel long distances to remote venues without worrying about the integrity of ingredients or prepared dishes.
The dolly is fitted with (4) 5″ donut neoprene swivel casters to easily maneuver your pan carriers around. 2 of the casters include brakes so that you can lock them down when you do not wish for the dolly to move. It includes a cam buckle strap with hooks that allow for proper securing of the carriers so no tip-overs occur.
